Duplicate photo finder — exact copies and similar shots
Compare duplicate files and similar photo series locally before deciding what to keep.
Compare before choosing
Original photoCheck resolution, sharpness and expression
Copy or similar shotA resized export or different moment may be worth keeping
Exact copies are not the same as similar shots
Identical files can have different names. Similar images may differ in expression, exposure, crop or compression. Review them separately.
Keep the version you want
Compare full-size detail, resolution and context. An edited export, RAW original and JPEG can all have a purpose. Do not assume that the largest file or highest score is always the right one.
A safe cleanup workflow
Back up, scan, compare and move uncertain candidates to a temporary folder before considering deletion. Review the move plan and use History for undo.
