Search photos in one folder and its subfolders

Use folder filters together with import and date-added filters to narrow photo search results.

Select your folder scope

Use “Search in folder and subfolders” for an indexed path such as D:\Photos\FromPhone. Files not yet analysed are not included simply because they are on disk.

Filters intersect

A folder filter combined with Latest import returns photos matching both. Latest import changes when the next batch is imported. Date added is more repeatable and is not the capture date.

Missing results?

Clear both the text query and active scope filters to return to the whole indexed collection. Check the folder path, scan status and manual classification if a category looks wrong.
