What a low score can indicate
Blur, missed focus, noise, exposure problems or a weak shot in a series. Inspect the image at full size.
Why a sharpness score is not the whole story
Portraits can have intentionally soft backgrounds. Night shots and unusual lighting may be valuable even with a low score. A numerical rating cannot decide the value of a memory.
Review candidates safely
In Gallery, compare Excellent, Normal and Poor groups, inspect the subject and check nearby shots. Review any explanation provided; adjust a rating if needed. Put uncertain files in a temporary folder and wait before deleting.
